Terms and conditions: Microgrant Awards for Parallelism in the Classroom Contest The EAPF provides an Educational Exchange website to allow academics to share materials which promotes the integration of concepts of parallelism into the classroom. The Microgrant Awards for Parallelism in the Classroom Contest will encourage academics and their students to think about how applications scale, to teach advanced concepts around concurrency and create classroom course materials that demonstrate parallel programming concepts. At the conclusion of the contest, all materials submitted may be shared with the community on the EAPF website as well as on the websites of the member constituents of the EAPF. The Awards starts March 9, 2011 and will continue through June 1, 2011. How To Enter: Submit a general description of materials that can be used in the classroom to introduce concepts of parallelism into computer and computational science courses. Entry abstracts should include an explanation of how the material presented will help advance the teaching of parallelism to students.
